Engineering & Quality Manager

Years of Experience: 20

What do you do? What do you interact with clients about? How do you try to make them feel when they’re working with you?

My role at Switzer is both internal and external. I am always working internally on making sure our processes are running efficiently, that our methods are documented, and that our output is meeting the needs of our customers. I also work directly with customers on design for manufacturability and production qualification work.

What do you like about working at Switzer?

I love all the different projects we work on here.  We make parts for many different industries and it’s inspiring to learn more about the components and systems we help to create.

What is something people in your industry/niche have to deal with that you want to fix?

Developing an economical and effective manufacturing method for a part or component can be a grueling process with a lot of trial and error. We are learning every day about new technologies, and networking with vendors and experts, so we can bring the right method to the table for a client. If we’re not the right fit for your project, we won’t pretend we are. We recognize the need for parts to be made in the most economical way to meet requirements and we strive to help customers reach that endpoint with ease and confidence.
