Engineering Technician – CNC Turret/Laser Programmer

This role will be responsible for providing material, process, and tooling information to production personnel to enable manufacturing goals. There are strategic opportunities to develop and maintain systems and equipment, while identifying and solving challenges. You will provide process recommendations that drive continuous improvement and optimize efficiency

Shift: Monday – Thursday 6am – 4:30pm

Responsibilities include:

• Converts inputs from the customer, sales, or engineer into concise production outputs.
• Applies knowledge of metal etching, forming, CNC turret or laser cutting.
• Participates in continuous improvement efforts with engineering and production teams.
• Flexes between machine operation, quality, and planning.
• Displays a positive and team focused attitude. Completes other tasks as required.

Qualifications:

• Four (4) year technical degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years experience setting up/operating machines in an ISO manufacturing environment.
• Solidworks or other CAD software experience
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to identify quality issues

Work Location: In person

Pay Range: $30-32/hour
