Antenna Components

  • Patch Antenna Elements
Flat, metallic patches precisely etched to specific geometries for creating directional or omnidirectional antennas.
  • Reflectors & Radome Parts
Thin metallic reflectors to direct RF signals, often paired with antenna arrays to improve gain and beam direction.
  • Beamforming Elements
Metal arrays or grids designed to shape and steer RF beams for applications like phased arrays or MIMO systems.

Filters

  • Combline Filter Plates
Intricate metal plates with parallel resonator structures that filter specific frequency bands, commonly used in RF signal processing.
  • Cavity Filter Components
Often called resonators, pin connectors, etc.
  • Filter Housing Covers & Perimeter Lids

Couples & Dividers

  • Directional Coupler Grids
Thin metal grids that split or combine RF signals, ensuring minimal loss and directional signal flow.
  • Power Divider Plates
Components designed to evenly distribute power from one source to multiple output ports, often used in antenna arrays.
  • Hybrid Coupler Housings
Metal parts used in RF circuits to combine or split signals with specific phase relationships (e.g., 90° or 180°).

Waveguide Components

  • Waveguide Irises
Thin metal inserts placed inside waveguides to control impedance, improve matching, or filter signals.
  • Aperture Plates
Precisely etched plates that guide RF signals through transitions, often used in mode conversion or filtering.
  • Waveguide Flange Covers
Thin metal covers for protecting waveguides, with optional etched holes for ventilation or signal coupling.

EMI/RFI Shielding

  • Shielding Enclosures & Covers
Metal boxes or covers designed to enclose RF circuits, preventing interference from external signals.
  • Perforated Shields
Shields with etched holes or patterns allowing controlled signal transparency while maintaining EMI/RFI protection.
  • Low Profile Shields
Shields with minimum, formed wall heights of .050”

Resonators

  • Microstrip Resonators
Freestanding metal components used to create high-Q resonant circuits, often in radar or telecommunication systems.
  • Dielectric Resonator Housings
Etched metal structures that house dielectric materials, enhancing their electromagnetic properties.

Thermal Management

  • Thin Metal Heat Spreaders / Heat Sinks
Flat, etched plates of copper or aluminum designed to distribute heat from RF components evenly.
  • Micro-channel cooling plates
  • Heat Exchanger plates

Mounting & Support Structures

Our process is exceedingly precise, and our team is knowledgeable about industry regulations. We will work with you to ensure your component allows your finished product to comply with standards. The first step is a finished component that meets the exact specifications of your design. Our process is unmatched in precision.

Features

  • Tolerances as low as 10% of material thickness
  • Metal thickness range from .001”- .125″
  • Outside corner radius are equal to 20% material thickness
  • Controlled depth etch features (Bend lines, part identifiers, etc) typically up to 50% thickness within +/- .001”
  • Etching is a burr-free and stress-free process. Stamping and machining impart thermal and mechanical stresses to parts, and the function of some parts require that these stresses are not present. Etched parts are also flatter for this reason.

We are able to create your component out of a number of practical and durable metals, including stainless steel, copper alloys, and aluminum. Our experts can help you determine the right material.

  • 300 & 400 series stainless steel
  • Cold-rolled steel
  • Copper
  • Beryllium Copper
  • Nickel Silver
  • Phosphor Bronze
  • Aluminum
  • Invar
  • Kovar
  • Nickel
  • Cupro Nickel
  • Brass

Improve your component performance with custom coatings. Our capabilities are extensive, and our commitment to precision means each part will meet our high standards for finishing quality. NADCAP plating available if requested.
